Right Click Send to Phone ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use our Chrome extension.
Data Collection and Usage
We believe in privacy by design. Our extension operates with the following principles:
- No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal identification information (PII) to our servers.
- Local Storage: Your configuration settings, including Webhook URLs, are stored locally on your device using Chrome's Sync Storage API. This data is synced across your signed-in Chrome browsers but is not accessible to us.
- Direct Communication: When you use the "Right Click Send to Phone" feature, the selected text is sent directly from your browser to the Slack or Discord Webhook URL you provided. This communication happens directly between your browser and the third-party service (Slack or Discord). We do not intercept or log this content.
Third-Party Services
Our extension interacts with the following third-party services based on your configuration:
- Slack: If you choose to use Slack, data is sent to the Slack Incoming Webhook URL you configure. Please refer to Slack's Privacy Policy for more information.
- Discord: If you choose to use Discord, data is sent to the Discord Webhook URL you configure. Please refer to Discord's Privacy Policy for more information.
Permissions
The extension requires the following permissions to function:
contextMenus: To add the "Right Click Send to Phone" option to your right-click menu.storage: To save your preferences and Webhook URLs.
Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
